Quiz
Here at the CBS, we have a long tradition of success in inter school quizzes. We have a school panel of 28 boys, from 3rd to 6th class.
Each Thursday after school, the boys meet for an hour, learning about topics such as capital cities, signs of the zodiac, national airlines, longest rivers, highest mountains, famous historical events, inventors and inventions, famous artists and their paintings -the list goes on and on! They also learn to be part of a team, how to (quietly!) discuss possible answers and how to come up with the best possible solution when unsure of the answer. The boys enter about 15 quizzes every year, and generally do very well.
However, the overall aim is not immediate success - we hope that the boys enjoy the experience and will always look forward to a table quiz – even when they are in their nineties!
