Soccer

Each June, we hold our after school soccer leagues for 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th and 5th/6th The emphasis is on participation and enjoyment. The boys really love this . . . especially our first class boys, for whom, it is their first league. The boys are split into eight teams. They play some matches in the group stages. All teams qualify for the knockout stages and we play on from there!
A team of sixth class boys take part in the F.A.I. seven a side blitz in Blarney in April. Park United, the local soccer club, are very good to our school also.
